Frankham Street

The Frankham Street site forms part of the Deptford Town Centre masterplan, which includes the new Deptford Lounge and Tidemill School, as part of a long term project spanning over 10 years. Pollard Thomas Edwards have been working with London Borough of Lewisham for nearly a decade as part of this project.

The Old Tidemill School buildings will be retained and refurbished, and become protected by Conservation Area status. The land to the south of the school buildings will have a new public square overlooked by new flats. Reginald Road will have maisonettes and flats facing south to fit the existing street pattern. The largest blocks will face the new square, with smaller buildings designed alongside the existing school buildings and other neighbours. In total we are aiming to provide approximately 210 new homes on the site.

The team are now working closely with Pollard Thomas Edwards and BDP towards a planning application.

The existing residents of Reginald Road are being offered new homes within the development, enabling them to stay in this area of Deptford.

We would like to thank everyone who was able to attend the Reginald Road Consultation Meeting or our public exhibitions in July and October for the valuable feedback we received. The July exhibition boards can be downloaded here, and the October boards can be downloaded here (all PDF files).

Details of our forthcoming exhibition can be found on the news/events page.
